Age: 83
SAMUEL J.'REYNOLDS, 83, .of Sherwood, AR., went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday,
January 20, 2008. Sam was a member of Runyan First Baptist Church where he and his late wife
attended for over 34 years. Sam was retired from both the United, State Air Force,
where he served his country in WWII and the United States Postal Service.
Sam received many accommodations and awards from the U.S.A.F and the U.S.P.S.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his wife of over 34 years, Eugenia "Jeanie" Reynolds
and one son, Jamie Reynolds. He is survived by his children, Tom Reynolds of Bryant, AR.,
Sue Reynolds also of Bryant, Jeff and Karen Reynolds of Jacksonville, AR. Three stepsons
Reg and Marilynn Madison of Aurora, Colo., Ron and Charlotte Madison of Huntsville, Ala.,
and Bruce and Jan Madison of Collierville, TN.; eight grandchildren;
and seven step grand children; eight great grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Sam was a long time member of the Whispering Pine Travelers but had retired
several years back due to bad health.
Visitation was Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral on Landers Road,
North Little Rock, AR. Funeral services were held 10 a.m., Thursday, January. 24, 2008,
at Runyan First Baptist Church in Sherwood, AR.
Internment followed at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Runyan First Baptist Church.
