James R. Mosley, Sr., Age 75, of Camden, AR., Died August 12th, 2005 at his home. James was
Born in 1925, at Bearden, Arkansas. In his early years, He worked at Palmers Grocery Store.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War. After returning home from Service, He was employed
By the Postal Service, where he retired. Mr. Mosley and his wife Frances were long time
Members of the Ouachita Rambling Sam's. He was precede in death by his wife, but remained
Active in the camping club until his death. He was an active member for a total of 22 years.
James was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camden. James lived for his children and
Grandchildren. He also enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and Camping. He was buried in Moss Cemetery
At Bearden, following services at Proctor Funeral Home. Survivors include a son,
James R, Mosley JR. and wife Beverly, of Little Rock; Two daughters, Barbara Ann Straus and
Husband Melvin of El Paso, TX. and Linda Sprague and husband David, of Conway, AR.; Two Sisters,
Winnie Bennett and Husband Billy, of Camden, AR., and Mary Rhinehart and husband Jerry, of
Longview, TX.; A grandson, Wade Mosley of Little Rock, AR.; Three granddaughters, Nikkie Mosley
of Little Rock, AR., Rachael Sprague and Amy Sprague, both of Conway, AR..
Though James is gone, He is not forgotten.
Though James is absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
