Born to Joseph Britton and Della (Norton) Lucy. He was a life member of the Kiwanis and a member
of the Spa City Sams (Good Sams) and also a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church. He was
preceded in death by one son J.O. Lucy Jr. Survivors include his wife, Jessie B. Lucy of Hot Springs;
one son Frank and his wife, Sharon Lucy of Colorado Spring, Colorado. Two sisters, Anna Lita Wright of
Little Rock, Arkansas and Mary Scallorn of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Jennifer L. and husband,
David L. Dugan of Calhan, Colorado, Brian T. Lucy of Colorado Springs, Colorado, JoEllen and husband
Mark Hornaday of Hampton, Arkansas, and Krisandra L. and husband D. Christopher Qualls of Hot Springs,
Arkansas; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashlee Dugan of Calhan, Colorado and Payton and
Garrett Qualls of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Services at 10 a.m. Saturday July 8, 2005 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Trent officating.
