Wesley F. Loomis, age 83, of Mountain Home,
passed away Friday, August 19, 2005 at his residence.
Mr. Loomis was born to Wesley R. and Ruth (Olmsted) Loomis on July 1, 1922 in LaGrange, Illnois.
He married the former Mary Mandekich on March 31, 1973 in Lyons, Illinois.
Wesley and Mary moved to Mountain Home from Hickory Hills, Illinois.
A member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 731,
he was a truck driver for J.M. Coan Inc. for 25 years until his retirement in 1986;
Wesley is survived by his wife Mary, his son Kim (Dawn) Loomis of Lone Rock,
stepson Emil (Diana) Klanyac of Brookfield, IL; stepdaughter Patricia (Patrick) Steigerwald of Seattle, WA;
grandchildren Nicole, Sasha, LCpl Jonathan, and Tawni Loomis;
step-grandchildren Christopher Klanyac, Leslie (Tom) Siciliano, Shannon (Joseph) Murray;
3 great-grandchildren; and sisters Patricia (Bill) Richardson and Susan Bockmiller .
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Arlene, sister Daisy, daughter Leslie, and granddaughter Tiffany.
Though Wesley is gone, He is not forgotten.
Though Wesley is absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
