Arthur Charles A.C. Ledbetter, 83 of Benton, died Saturday, June 14, 2008. He was born January 14, 1925
in Benton, Arkansas to the late Martin Arthur and Nancy (McClendon) Ledbetter. Mr. Ledbetter was a member
of the Thundering Sams, a Goodsam’s Camping Club and participated in the Men’s Bible Class at
First United Methodist Church, where he was a member. He retired from the Arkansas Highway and
Transportation Department, Right of Way Division.
AC is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (Barnes) Ledbetter;
Two sons,
Charles Michael Ledbetter and
Steven Francis Ledbetter and wife Susan (Samples) all of Benton;
and his beloved pet, Ginger.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home
in Benton (315-4047), with Dr. George McCoy and Rev. William Cato officiating. Interment will follow in
New Rosemont Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 16 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Bill McLehaney, Gerald Baxley, Gip Robertson, Max Brown, Larry McMillen, John Due.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Men’s Bible Class at First United Methodist Church of Benton.
Though A. C. is gone, He is not forgotten.
Though A. C. is absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
