************************ Fall Samboree 2009 *******************
The Fall Samboree was a another Success. There was 224 rigs present, 20 better than 2008.
There were 10 States represented besides the 6 States in Area 4. Kansas had the most
out-of-state rigs (19), Texas was second (16), Oklahoma third (14), Missouri fourth (13) and
Louisiana fifth (3). Only 29 of the 35 Arkansas Chapters were represented.

There was dozens of games played (Sandbag Baseball, Horseshoes, Washers, Turtles,
Egg Toss, Golf to mention a some) with 1st, 2nd & 3rd place badges for singles and doubles
awarded. The entertainment was very good every night. Hundreds of prizes were given
to lucky folks over the 4 days. If you missed this one, DON'T miss the Spring Samboree
in Texarkana, Arkansas April 15 - 18, 2010.

For those 224 that were there, we had one scary night.. High winds and heavy rains
were predicted and we did get the rain. I think Everyone took the warning and rolled
in the awning and we rode it out.

Area 3 Friendship Campout 2010
Welcome!!!
Plans are being made for the Area 3 Friendship Camp Out, March 24 thru March 26
at Craighead County Fairgrounds, 2731 Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR.
Parking: $10.00 per night.
Walk ins: $3.00 per person.
You may arrive as early as Monday, March 22nd.
Electricity, and water available. Sewer dump on grounds. Please come with fresh water
tank full and holding tank empty.
Activities include: lots of games, bingo, and Chinese auction.
Bring your wares. Betty's famous bean supper (Potluck), hamburger cookout and pancake breakfast.

Please make your plans now to attend and have a good time. Rates are $20 per night;
50 amp service and cable is $1.10 each.
Give us a call so we know how many to expect at the meal Saturday night.

Saturday: Sausage/Pancake breakfast; Chinese Auction

Area 6 Friendship Campout 2010
The 2010 Area 6 Friendship Campout, will be at Hope, Arkansas Fair Grounds.
May 3, 4, 5 and leave the 6th, 2010 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday leave Thursday)
Lots of games, renewing old friendships and maybe making some new ones.
We will be having the Chinese auction... Be sure to bring your items.
Lots of games to be played: bean bag baseball, bingo, card games, etc.

There are plenty of camp sites available, so come on down. We're sure you'll have a great time

The price is $15.00 per night. We will have electric and water with dump station.
